Dancing has been my favourite thing to do for as long as I can remember.

I began taking jazz classes when I was 2, and have been putting on regular full productions in my living-room since then. At the age of 8, I joined a competitive youth company at

Becky's Academy of Dance (now Artistry in Motion) near Houston in Katy, Texas,

where most of my pre-formative training took place.

I was a competitive dancer for 8 years, during which I competed at 7+ competitions yearly and regularly attended conventions such as Jump!, Tremaine, NYCDA (New York City Dance Alliance), KAR (Kids Artistic Revue), ASH (Artists Simply Human). I also participated in summer intensives with the Houston Metropolitan Dance Company, the International Ballet of Houston, & others.

I stopped competing at the age of 16 to focus on perfecting my technique, specifically in Ballet & Modern at the Houston Metropolitan Dance Center. When I graduated from high school (age 17),

I auditioned for and received acceptance offers from the Boston Conservatory as well as

the California Institute of the Arts, amongst others.

Due to circumstance, I was forced to attend

the University of North Texas in the fall of 2014 as a BFA Dance Major.

In January of 2015, I suffered a Deep Vein Thrombosis (blood clot) in my left thigh & I was unable to dance for a year & three months. I moved home to Mexico City in January of 2016.

My training resumed in April and I quickly became an active member of the dance community in Mexico City, focusing on jazz and contemporary at several studios throughout the city and having the honour of performing in works such as Macho Man XXI  by Tania Perez-Salas, Abrazos by Yeyo Maldonado, and participating in a short apprenticeship with Apoc Apoc Dance Company, as well as working with master teachers, choreographers, and amazing fellow artists such as: Sarah Matry-Guerre, Panchito Garcia, Jaime Camarena, Isela Quintana, Carlo Huerta, Cuca Pon, Silvia Fernandez, Daniel Muñoz, Mario Cuesta, Eduardo Ledesma, Ana Karen Huerto and others, whilst under the representation of Rêves Agency

I moved to Australia mid-June of 2019 in order to become a certified teacher, to continue my training, and to gain insight and exposure to a contemporary dance world

on the other side of the planet.

Since my arrival in Australia I have had the pleasure of working with Bl!nk Dance Theatre (a project-based company in Geelong Victoria),  Wild Entertainment (an entertainment group that manages circus, dance, and other performers for events throughout Melbourne), and most recently with Dancebourne Arts (a classical and contemporary dance company in Darebin, Melbourne).

Additionally, I was recipient of a Quick Response Creative Initiative Grant by the City of Greater Geelong and had the honour of creating my own dance-film in collaboration with Eric Dittloff of Hello Friend Media. Please click here to view this project.

I am currently based in Melbourne, VIC, Australia and keen to be involved in creation of arts related projects, installations, and shows.
